Birthday Gifts for Marla!
Today is Marla's Birthday!
A strange man came to the door this afternoon and I told him to GO AWAY. He said he had a package for us. It smelled pretty good so I let him leave the box but he would have to leave.
Did I mention that the box smelled really GOOD. I wanted to open it but Marlyn wouldn't let me. She said that I had to wait for Marla to come home from work. It was really hard to wait that long. Where is she? I want to open the box.
She finnaly came home but instead of opening the yummy box she went outside to take care of the goats and chickens . . . come on, hurry up, I want to OPEN THE BOX!
When we finally sat on the floor to open the present it was really great fun. Paper packing everywhere . . . Yippee! But there were more boxes inside the big box. A whole TOWER of boxes and all had good smells!
I thought I would give her a present to and stuffed my ball into the ribbon!

We finally opened up each of the little boxes . . . One had cookies, aother had candy, others had Baklava (marla's favorite), cheese (my favorite), nuts, apples and pears.
I had to sniff test each . . . and yes they are all wonderfully delicious!

Marla said to thank each and every one of you . . . Bon, Gene, Ma and of course Cindy Lou Who, who I am sure helped to pick out the gift.
She also got some fuzzy slippers . . . I think they may be toys for me, a "Mator" alarm clock. Mator is from the movie "Cars" he's the tow truck . . . Marla likes him but not as much as she likes me.
(For Cindy only, People don't read- Thanks for the cheese Cindy, I know you made sure there would be something for me.)
By for now . . . Roger - The Papillon Prince
